Well, it’s official. Love is in the air, but it didn’t come without speculations. So, the dating rumors of Tiger Woods, and Vanessa Trump stole the spotlight when the latter was seen attending TGL matches with her daughter Kai, a little too often. She even attended the Genesis Invitational, an event hosted by Woods. That was the first time the two were seen in public together. It was then reported that the alleged couple started their romance during last year’s Thanksgiving. The chances are that the two bonded over golf. After all, both Woods’s son Charlie and Trump’s daughter Kai are highly enthusiastic golfers with both slated to make it professional in due time. The two kids also study at the same school, The Benjamin School. After several weeks of speculation, debate, and pointless discussions, Tiger Woods has confirmed his relationship.

Woods took to Instagram to publicly declare his love as he shared photos with Vanessa Trump, his lady love. He added two beautiful photos with Vanessa with a very sweet caption, which stated, “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy to all those close to our hearts.” 

From the white theme going on in the pictures, you might get confused if a couple got married, but they did not. There was no ring on Vanessa’s finger. Vanessa Trump is the former wife of Donald Trump Jr, the son of the current President of the United States Donald Trump. She married Donald Trump Jr. in 2005. The couple has five children across thirteen years of marriage. Kai Trump (born in 2007), Donald Trump III(born in 2009), Tristan Trump(born in 2011), Spencer Trump(born in 2012) and Chloe Trump(born in 2014). On March 15, 2018, Vanessa filed for an uncontested divorce in New York. In July 2018, the former couple resolved their child custody issue, and the divorce was settled at the end of 2018.

An unnamed insider gave some insights about their relationship, a week ago to Page Six. “They have a lot in common. They’ve both gotten used to public scrutiny. They both know how to keep their private life private. They’re both parents.  They’re a good match; they’re level-headed, they like to avoid drama, they share a lot of the same values.” A trait of Vanessa’s of not being star-struck by Woods was also revealed, when the insider said, “She’s not starstruck by him; she’d date him even if he weren’t famous. Fame doesn’t interest her; that’s what he likes best about her … We’ll see where it goes.”

Woods is very close with the Trump family, having very recently played a round of golf in a private affair with Donald Trump. They even met at the Oval Office on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Woods has always talked fondly of Trump. As per the reports, an unnamed source told Page Six that Donald Trump is okay with the new romance. “[President] Trump knows about him dating Vanessa and is said to approve. Trump and Tiger are tight, and Tiger got the medal of freedom from him in 2019,” the insider said.

Now that we are talking about Tiger Woods’s new romance, it’s only fair to take a look at the couple’s past relationships.

Tiger Woods’s past dating history

Woods married Elin Nordegren in 2004 after being engaged to her for almost a year. With the Swedish model, Woods has two children, Sam Woods who was born in 2007, and her brother, Charlie Woods who was born in 2009. The couple divorced in 2010 as a result of the fallout due to Woods’s infidelity scandal. Woods further went on to date Olympic gold medal skier Lindsey Vonn, for a period of two years from 2013 to 2015. He was also in a rumored relationship with stylist Kristin Smith.

His next long-term relationship was with restaurant manager Erica Herman. They met when Herman was working at his restaurant in Florida. The relationship which lasted for nearly six years ended on a sour note, with Herman filing a lawsuit against Woods for illegally evicting her from his property. Vanessa Trump was briefly involved with Leonardo DiCaprio. She then dated, Saudi Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud from 1998 to 2001.

Both Woods and Trump will be relishing this new chapter in their life and the fact that the golfer decided to announce the relationship on social media means that he feels that Trump is a valuable part of his life. Here’s to the cheerful couple!
