Golfing lessons come with a huge price tag, which many may find it hard to afford. Moreover, a golf tip from a Hall of Famer can only be served as an imagination for many. However, nearly two years ago, instead of teaching golf lessons, the 6-time Major champion Phil Mickelson gave an entertaining tip to his fans on how to do a worm dance. Yes, you read that right.
Though some fans may be disappointed with Lefty for his recent involvement in LIV Golf, it’s hard for most fans to hate his character. Aside from being a winner on the course, Mickelson is adored by many fans for his witty character. He never fails to bring a smile to the fans with his humor-filled jokes.

Nearly 2 years ago, Phil fooled all his fans by posting a hilarious video on Twitter. While many thought of it being a genuine golf instruction video, Mickelson went to give his fans a Worm dance tutorial. Let’s take a look at the background and what the fans had to say about the video.

Dressed in his regular golf attire, Lefty click baits all his followers for teaching a golf shot. He begins by saying, “The biggest mistake I see among most amateurs”, before launching into some technical jargon on how to use the arms and legs properly.

His advice, however, had little to do with making a flop shot or hitting BOMBs. Instead, he concentrated on the worm, a move that won’t be useful until after you’ve won your own match. In all fairness to Mickelson, he has had a career full of wins.
The then 50-year-old then displays his amazing dance skills as he proceeds to enact the worm dance. “You see that. That’s what I want you to do. Keep your elbows closed. It allows for better tricep activation”, says Phil after completing the dance moves.
Regardless of being over the age of 50, Phil Mickelson still has so much agility in his body. Undoubtedly, his dance skills amused a lot of fans on Twitter including his sister, Tina Mickelson. Several fans shared their appreciation for the golfer while others admired Mickelson’s comic character.

Gleaming white dress shirt required and when the move is accomplished with the appropriate amount of finesse, without a single grass stain, the move has been perfected, right? 😁

I couldn’t possibly love @PhilMickelson more! He’s just the best dude ever! If only he and @TigerWoods had been friends a long time ago I might have enjoyed his greatness sooner.
