Golf fans were more than entertained as the finale of the FedEx Cup reached its climax on the fourth and final day. As the players including Hovland and Schauffele set their eyes on the trophy and the winner’s cut of $18 million on Sunday, the golf community saw the officials and the staff, including a specific cameraman, hustling their backs off to give the audience and fans a seamless experience of the same.
In an Instagram post uploaded by the official PGA Tour handle, the cameraperson is seen running alongside Viktor’s cart as they travel onto the next hole. The three passengers, including the Norwegian golfer, his caddie, and the cart driver, were surprised as the lensman was seen keeping up with the vehicle with the device in hand.
During the ride, the looper, Shay Knight, was seen asking the tech guy whether he was going to run all the way to the second hole. Moreover, visibly impressed with his determination, the post was shared with the caption, “This cameraman deserves a raise.”

The PGAT pro took the lead on the fourth day of the championship as he cemented his position at the top spot on the leaderboard. Hovland took home the winner’s cut of $18 million as he registered a total of 27-under 261 to clinch the trophy. He propelled himself to the lead during the tournament and managed to stay ahead of his American counterpart Schauffele who finished the event with a 22-under.
The victory comes off as his third one of the season with the first one coming off at the Memorial Tournament and the second one at the penultimate event of the preceding FedEx Cup playoffs. Moreover, he was able to register his lowest-ever score (61) on the final day of the BMW Championship as he took home the trophy for the same.
