Talor Gooch recently earned his way back to fame through his recent victory at LIV Golf Adelaide. The American pro made tons of new fans with his epic performance at the tournament and finished with a beautiful score of 19 under in the final round. Gooch made $4 million for his spectacular win, followed by Anirban Lahiri, who made $2,125,000 finishing second at the tournament.
To discuss his recent LIV triumph, they invited Gooch for an episode of the Fore The People podcast. During the episode, the golfer opened up about several things he came across in his career recently. But to everyone’s surprise, the golf star made a surprising revelation about his conversation with PGA Tour legend Tiger Woods at the Masters. And it had everything to do with the golf star’s alleged interest in LIV Golf!
While talking about his time at Augusta, Gooch recalled a “funny story” involving Woods. “I was warming up. Tiger was right next to me warming up…he’s like, you’re going to Adelaide? Right? I’m like, like, yeah,” he disclosed. “He’s like, then have you ever been to Singapore? I was like, man, first time.” Well, if you still don’t understand what it means, you’re probably new to the entire PGA Tour vs LIV Golf scenario.

What did Gooch’s conversation with Woods imply?
As per Gooch’s statements, Woods was completely aware of LIV Golf’s upcoming events even before the official announcements. And that is probably why he mentioned Adelaide and Singapore during his conversation with the Saudi golfer. Not to forget, Woods was allegedly offered $800 million to join the Saudi League.
However, despite refusing to leave the Tour, the golf ace’s interest in the breakaway league’s schedule has brought him into the spotlight among PGA Tour fans. But to some, it might appear to be just another conversation with a fellow player.
