The much-awaited PNC Tournament began today. Fans got so much more than they expected from the first round of the tournament. The event plays with teams of two competing. Pushing your teammate to give his or her best on the course is an important part of the game. The fan favorites at the tournament are Tiger Woods and his son, Charlie Woods, who understand that too. But the duo also knows where the pushing needs to end. “I’ll end the line right there,” said Tiger when questioned about it.

The two have played together at the previous two PNC Championships and return for their third appearance this year. Having narrowly missed out on a win and placed second last year, they will certainly be looking to claim the title this time around.

Soon after the first round ended, the media flocked to Team Woods. The media was eager to hear from Charlie, just as much as his father. One announcer even asked him about pushing Tiger competitively on the course, and how far could he go with it?

Charlie promptly responded, saying, “I push him as much as I possibly can.” The 13-year-old golfer explained that he knew once Tiger pushed back that he could only go so far with nudging him on. “Once he pushes back, then I know I can push a little bit more, and then I’m done,” said the young golf pro. He revealed that beyond that, things got “heated.”

The announcer then turned to the PGA Tour pro and asked him how he dealt with the “oomph” that Charlie gave him. Tiger stated, “I don’t mind the oomph, but there’s a line to it.” The 15-time major winner was firm about how far things could go out on the course.

Tiger stated that Charlie knew when to stop and that the young Woods occasionally went above and beyond. He said, “He tries to push a little bit beyond that, but that’s where the line is.” The two have been playing together for a long time now and know each other’s boundaries and limits very well.
