Fans are waiting to see the 53-year-old golfer among his former buddies from the PGA Tour, DP World Tour, and some of his LIV Golf comrades as well, including Brooks Koepka in the 151st Open Championship. He is one of those golfers who is very likely to win the title, defying age and everything else.

Mickelson is constantly amid scrutiny

Mickelson was a prodigy in the sport even before he entered the cosmos of Professional golf. He has amassed a significant fan following along with his massive net worth and numerous accolades over the years.

However, since he defected to LIV Golf, the 3-times Masters winner has faced a lot of backlash from PGA Tour loyalists. Although his die-hard fans did not choose sides, they are left to wonder if Mickelson will attend the Open Championship amid the controversy. He did say how happy he is to play 54 instead of 72 holes since joining LIV Golf. He also faced a lot of judgment upon missing the cut in the US Open 2023.

The golfing world is hoping that Lefty will make an appearance and hopefully reclaim his title, even if it is 10 years later.
