Despite Supporting Tiger Woods Over His Tampon Controversy, Paige Spiranac Has “Endless Questions” for the GOAT: “Is This Something Tiger Does All the Time?”

The 2023 Genesis Invitational will stay in the memory of the fans of Tiger Woods for a long time for multiple reasons. One, for making a powerful comeback, and two, for making fun of his fellow golfer with the help of a tampon. Because of its controversiality, many still discuss the latter incident, and the golf influencer Paige Spiranac is one of them. 

Paige Spiranac has a lot to discuss with Tiger Woods

Being a social media influencer who talks about difficulties women face in the world of golf, one would think Spiranac would have talked against Tiger. However, such was not the case here. She was one of the first to point out the funny side of the joke on social media as soon as the incident happened. 

Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean she is ready to drop the topic from discussion forever. In fact, the Colorado native still has numerous questions regarding the subject for Woods, which only he can answer. She discussed the same when she appeared as a guest on the Fore the People podcast’s ‘Paige Spiranac, Queen of Golf’ episode. 

After talking briefly about why she thinks Woods shouldn’t be criticized in this incident, Spiranac revealed a couple of questions she had in mind since then. “Did Tiger get it from the bathroom?” the ex-pro continued to fire the questions. “Was he just carrying around this tampon for this moment? Does he have a box of tampons?”

Furthermore, she asked the question that everyone had in their mind since the incident. “Is this something Tiger does all the time?” She added, “like endless questions.”

Neither Woods nor Justin Thomas, whom the GOAT made fun of using the tampon, have ever thought that their joke would become a controversial topic in the golf world. However, despite apologizing publicly, many still haven’t forgiven him as they consider his prank patriarchial in nature. However, like Spiranac, many supported the golf legend. 

The 2023 Solheim Cup Team captain Suzann Pettersen was one of the professional golfers to show their support toward Woods. Other than her, many fans and even the NFL legend Marcellus Wiley found the golf legend’s prank funny.
