This is the line for merchandise at The Masters.
They'll do about $70 million in merch sales this week.
That's $10 million a day, $1 million an hour, $16,000 a minute, and $277 every second.

Despite its low-priced food offering, Augusta National is reportedly earning $70 million from the ongoing Major. The profits are mainly earned through the sale of Masters merchandise. According to a prominent investor, Joe Pompilano, Augusta National makes $10 million per day during the whole week leading up to the Major.
He further segmented the earnings by claiming the Masters earns ‘$1 million an hour, $16,000 a minute, and $277 every second’. By the end of the year, the pro shop at Augusta National brings nearly $150 million in revenue. Since the iconic venue holds the reputation of hosting one of the most prestigious events of the year, it levels it up by selling pricey merchandise.
Fans who make their way to Augusta National do wish to return back home with a souvenir from the 90-year-old golf club. With so much profit for the Masters just through their merchandise sales, the Major looks to further increase their profits in the coming years. Though they may earn an exorbitant amount of profit from the week, how much do they pay to the winner of the Masters?
What is the 2023 Masters’ Winner’s purse?
As Augusta National earns 8 figures just through merchandise sales, they provide the winner of the Green Jacket with comparatively lesser prize money. Unlike their nearly $70 million profit, the winner of this year’s Masters will receive $3.24 million.
