Moreover, the prices of the canteen food were also revealed to be around as low as $3 for a BBQ sandwich. Despite the cheap prices, a new revelation displays the exorbitant profit the Masters makes from the week.

Despite its low-priced food offering, Augusta National is reportedly earning $70 million from the ongoing Major. The profits are mainly earned through the sale of Masters merchandise. According to a prominent investor, Joe Pompilano, Augusta National makes $10 million per day during the whole week leading up to the Major.

He further segmented the earnings by claiming the Masters earns ‘$1 million an hour, $16,000 a minute, and $277 every second’. By the end of the year, the pro shop at Augusta National brings nearly $150 million in revenue. Since the iconic venue holds the reputation of hosting one of the most prestigious events of the year, it levels it up by selling pricey merchandise.
