Jon Rahm has been an ambitious golfer since he turned pro, and at every event, he proves his resolve time and again. Ever since his rookie days, the Spaniard had a fire within to win and it has only grown stronger with time. And so have his golfing skills.

In the Open Championship 2023, Rahm was one of the four golfers alongside Tom Kim, Sepp Straka, and Jason Day who came closest to bridging the gap between them and Brian Harman. Even if he couldn’t claim the title, coming so close to a historic finish is a feat in itself.

Rahm first sparked a desire for Major tournaments back in 2019. In the same year, he made it into the top 10 at two Major events. He finished at T3 at the US Open, and in T9 at the Masters. The following year, the two-time major winner hopped to T7 at the Masters Tournament.

In 2021, he jumped to T5 at the Masters. He could almost taste victory swiftly approaching. He also made it into T3 of the Open Championship and T8 at the PGA Championship. However, his greatest achievement in 2021 was his maiden Major win at the US Open, where he claimed the title along with $2.25 million in winnings.

Although 2022 was an unremarkable year for the Spaniard golfer, he made a stunning comeback in 2023 with not only his T2 finish at Royal Liverpool, but also accomplished a long-time goal. Finally, he donned the green jacket for winning the 2023 Masters Tournament. As the PGA Tour said on their Instagram, “Jon Rahm’s major record is no joke.”
