Despite no longer playing at the highest level, John Daly retains a massive fan base all over the world. The ‘Wild Thing’ remains one of the most popular golfers in town, which has made him a star attraction even when he’s not playing. While there are a number of Masters traditions, Daly has formed one of his own in spite of his absence from the very tournament since 2006.

But in one of the Hooters restaurants in Georgia, less than a mile away from the Augusta National itself, Daly has formed his own little tradition. The celebrated golfer has held a pop-up with his fans at the location annually since 1997, which has become an essential custom for his patrons. The golfer is available for photos and autographs at the restaurant, which is a delight for his loyal fans.
