Golfers have always been very compassionate and empathetic towards their little fans. Be it Brooks Koepka tossing his ball to a little 9-year-old boy, or Jordan Spieth inviting a bunch of kids inside the ropes to sign some autographs. Golfers have always had a way of making kids’ golf experience more special. Now, Lexi Thompson has made the International Crown event more special for a little girl.
Little girl, Isabelle had the best time of her life at TPC Harding. Her weekend was indeed a special one, and the LPGA star made it more special.
Lexi Thompson makes International Crown even more special for a little girl

Some days ago, a debutant at the Wells Fargo Championship, Jordan Spieth made time for his little fans and interacted with them. Now, Lexi Thompson did the same thing. But unlike Spieth, she did not invite anyone to the greens but spent time with a fan who was already there.
Girls Golf is an organization founded by LPGA and USGA to empower young girls with the game of golf. Isabelle, a little girl scout member who was appointed as the ambassador of Girls Golf was at the TC Harding for the weekend. She got to experience the amazing match play of the International Crown in real life at such young age.

Isabelle posted a series of photographs and videos from her weekend experience where we could see the 28-year-old LPGA star smiling with the little girl. Thompson also signed her little fan’s cap, right in the middle. Isabelle posted, “And that’s a wrap for my weekend at the @internationalcrown @tpchardingpark! Thank you coach Kathleen @kmrgolfbayarea and @girlsgolfbayarea for such an amazing first @lpga_tour tournament experience”.
She further added, “And the Icing on the cake was being an ambassador for @girlsgolf. It was so inspiring to see all these top notch athletes in action! Congratulations to Team Thailand 🇹🇭 for winning the crown!” Before having a heartfelt moment with the fan, Lexi did give it all to the American Team.
Thompson’s role in pushing the US team to the semi-finals
Despite losing to Sweden in Pool A, Team USA was still able to qualify for the semi-finals. The USA team faced the ultimate winning team; Thailand and Australia fought against Sweden.

All thanks to the back-to-back birdies that Thompson shot the back nine that helped the USA team secure a spot in the semi-finals. Team Thailand emerged as the winner in the International Crown event 2023 and Team USA finished on number third.
