He mentioned various aspects in the conversation that were rather intriguing. This took place at a podcast interview with Michael McEwan and Alex Perry, the episode was called The LIV Golf/ OWGR Fiasco and was a part of the series called, The Bunkered Podcast.

Shipnuck attacked the PGA Tour and pointed out that PGAT was more “pressed” and concerned when he was covering the rival tour i.e the LIV Golf Tour than it was about its own tour’s coverage.

Additionally, he also said “You know, it was things became very tribal very quickly” Alan Shipnuck’s observation about the tribalism and polarization in the world of golf, as well as in modern life and politics, is reflective of a broader societal trend.

This polarization and the “pick a side and defend it to the death” mentality have indeed become more prominent in recent years, particularly in the United States but also in many other countries. Furthermore, he also said, “It’s like, there’s not a lot of nuance there’s, there’s not a lot of middle ground.”
