Although on a hiatus owing to his injuries and surgery, Tiger Woods‘ actions have always made the news in the golfing world. The same was the case when he and Rory McIlroy announced the TGL. Since then, The brainchild has grown tremendously to include big names from all over the sporting realm and the rest of the world.

But the GOAT of golf has not stopped with the expansion of his own innovative league. What’s more, with just a couple of months remaining before the start of TGL in 2024, the legend has managed to include one of the PGA Tour’s biggest names in the tech-infused league, which is nothing short of a surprising move!

PGA Tour pro joins Tiger Woods’ TGL

The new venture by TMRW Sports saw a lot of eminent personalities including Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian, and Arthur Blank, among others, invest in the league. Moreover, 18 players had joined the Hall of Famer’s brainchild. And Keegan Bradley’s arrival into the league has improved the total tally to 19.

Bradley was one of the three players including Sahith Theegala and Cameron Young who were announced as the recent additions to TGL this week. Moreover, the inclusion of the 37-year-old would prove to be an exciting move as he would bring a lot of passion to the table.

The professional boasts 12 professional wins under his belt not to mention 6 victories on the PGA Tour including a major, earning a total of $40 million. Moreover, the American has recorded a total of six top-10 finishes in the 2022-23 season including two wins at the 2022 ZOZO Championship and the Travelers Championship in the following year.

“As a sports fan, I think this is going to appeal to a lot of people who simply love to watch sports in general and not just golf,” said the golfer after the announcement of his addition as he continued “I can’t wait to be a part of a team and contribute in any way that I can.”

However, the addition of the 2011 PGA Championship winner is not the only news that the league had to offer this week. In a surprising reveal, the CEO of Home Depot and his group announced their team in the golf league.

Atlanta outfit joins Woods’ TGL

A few days back, AMB Sports and Entertainment released a video revealing the name and logo of their new golf team, Atlanta Drive GC. The recording basically showcased the announcement of the same while sharing some inspiring moments of the world of sports in Atlanta. The logo showcases a red letter ‘A’ which is displayed inside the full name of the squad.

The team is now one of the four who are part of the new league. Including the Atlanta Drive GC, the new venture includes TGL Boston by John Henry, Tom Werner, and Fenway Sports Group, Los Angeles Golf Club led by Ohanian, Williams, and Venus Williams, and TGL New York, led by Steven A. Cohen.
