Though initially, they were many speculations of a suspension on the breakaway Tour defectors from competing in Majors, the fans were given a clear statement at the end of last year. The Augusta National Golf Club confirmed to allow the eligible LIV Golf players to compete in the Masters.
Fortunately for Dustin, he can tick some of the boxes of eligibility criteria for the Masters. He won his first and only Green Jacket back in 2020 after outclassing the rest of the field with a stunning 20 under-par total score. The winner of the Masters receives a lifetime invitation to the Major at Augusta National.

However, when it comes to receiving an invitation based on being among the top 50 golfers, Dustin Johnson is not among the best 50 golfers as per the OWGR for the first time in 13 years. Nonetheless, with a lifetime invitation to Augusta National, being ranked 65th is not a worry for DJ.
While the former World Number one may receive an invitation for next month’s Masters, he hasn’t confirmed his participation yet. Since he participated regularly since 2018, the odds of Dusti Johnson competing in Augusta National do look quite favored. Moreover, being the winner of the LIV Golf’s inaugural season, he would love to win his second Green Jacket while representing the breakaway Tour.
