The first leg of the 2023 FedEx Cup playoffs is underway at TPC Southwind in Memphis. A morning storm delayed the St. Jude Championship by three hours on Thursday. However, once the storm blew over, many golfers caught the eye through their stellar shows.

But after round 1, the headlines were about something else, not about their performances. Actually, they were about the pants of a PGA professional. Hilarious, right? Let’s dive into the story and have our share of fun.

The rolled-up pants of Tom Kim create quite a buzz

A bizarre action from the golf course made it to Twitter. In a post, NUCLR Golf posted a collage of Tom Kim‘s pictures wearing a salmon-colored t-shirt, and rolled-up white pants ((that’s what caught everyone’s attention) at the FedEx Cup St. Jude Championship.

It also mentioned the injury that Tom returned from, which occurred at The Open in Hoylake. But the length of the pants made some serious buzz. Enough to steal the limelight from the fact that the golfer was making a comeback after his injury.

It wrote, “Tom Kim fired an opening round 64 on a bummed ankle @FedExChamp, but instead everyone wanted to talk about his pants.” Tom Kim’s reaction was also present in the post. “I think a lot of people are actually having fun out of it.…It was just, I didn’t want to get myself dirty. Just don’t like it. I’ve had a really bad week once this year, so just trying to stay away from it really. It was just kind of how I did it back in the old days.

“I didn’t have unlimited pants, so I had to make sure I was able to use those pants for a really long time, so I had to make sure they stayed really clean …I chose the wrong color, obviously.”
