When asked about her overall thoughts on the team and her singles match on Sunday, Danielle Kang responded, “In as many words as possible, I was so honored to be on this team, to experience what I experienced this week. People kept asking me about my shoes and why I wrote everyone’s name on there, and no, it didn’t come like that.“
She further added, “But there was not a single person, including caddies, players, staff, captain, and assistant captains, that I didn’t want to represent… I played the best I have all year, so I’m very proud.”

The team also discussed the high level of golf played during the tournament and the positive atmosphere in the dressing room. Overall, they considered the match-up to be a successful and meaningful outcome for Team USA, even though the hosts retained the Cup having won the last time around in 2021.
