Linn Grant was recently stationed at the Evian Resort Golf Club. The golfer’s performance at this prestigious French venue was her second-best score at Amundi Evian Championship. Last year she managed to finish T8 which was her best result at women’s golf major. Nevertheless, the professional’s T16 finish this year wasn’t a bad display of skills. However, a player of Grant’s caliber would have looked forward to taking a better position.

Anyhow, this doesn’t overshadow the feats the Swedish icon has been able to achieve since she turned pro. Not only the golf audience, but the golf management has been on the qui vive and witnessed the exceptional talent Grant holds. Thanks to the win at the 2023 Dana Open, the Swedish golfer was able to claim her first LPGA Tour title since she turned pro in 2021.

Prior to this accolade, the LET icon had already made her name outside the US by registering 5 LET wins; an accomplishment that isn’t facile to achieve. Thus, recognizing her efforts, the official handle of the Ladies European Tour tweeted and called Grant an inspiration for the next generation.

Moreover, they wrote that the 24-year-old has globally epitomized Sweden which is a dream come true for many.
