In a year that is full of profitable deals for Tiger Woods, he made another successful endeavor just days ago when he collaborated with popstar Justin Timberlake for their new T-Squared Social Club, which is a fusion of a sports bar and an indoor golf experience in New York.
But the celebration of this merger is now mitigated by a concerning matter for Woods which has erupted from his past. His ex-girlfriend Erica Herman, who is involved in a legal battle with the golfer, has made yet another massive strike on him in the case.

Tiger Woods might be on a self-imposed sabbatical but his life is constantly in motion filled with planned and unplanned action. His year has been full of off-course action which saw him making many successful deals. The latest is collaborating with Timberlake for T-Squared Social Club which is located on East 42nd Street, between the iconic New York Public Library and Grand Central Terminal. But as Woods’ ex-girlfriend’s latest claims surface, his worries increase.
His ex Erica Herman has recently filed a 53-page brief in a Florida state appeals court with the hopes of reviving her former public lawsuit against Woods. She has taken this step after her earlier plea was thrown out by a judge in May. Woods dated Herman who is a former employee at one of his Florida-based restaurants.
In the brief, Herman’s attorney has claimed that she is a victim of sexual harassment at the hands of Woods and thus should not be forced to seek private arbitration. Her lawyer, Benjamin Hodas has cited a recently implemented federal law which in cases of sexual assault invalidates non-disclosure agreements (NDA) and arbitration.
Hodas quoted from the brief: “Congress recently passed the Ending Forced Arbitration Of Sexual Assault And Sexual Harassment Act of 2021, precisely to prevent a plaintiff like Ms. Herman from being forced into arbitration by a former boss and sexual partner related to her employment and sexual relationship.”

Herman had previously accused Woods of pursuing a sexual relationship with her when she was his employee in 2017 and then forcing her to sign an NDA about it and if she refused, she was threatened with removal from the job. The NDA forces her to seek private arbitration but Herman argues that she doesn’t recall signing the document.
The brief further pleads that no person should be forced to arbitration outside of court. “The trial court allowed the Appellee (Tiger Woods) to force the Appellant (Erica Herman) out of court without even threshold evidence that he and she agreed to arbitrate. The burden was not high for the Appellee, but he failed to meet it.”
Woods himself has made no comments but his attorney ruled out the allegations of assault made by Herman. Before this Herman made another lawsuit against Woods in March in which she wanted the NDA to be declared invalid.
