Tiger Woods has landed in controversies numerous times for his actions on and off the field. However, among all his squabbles, the golfer was once in the news for something he reportedly did in his personal life. And as per sources, his mother was highly disappointed in him. Moreover, she was more concerned about Woods’ ex-wife and the kids.

What was Tiger Woods’ mother’s take on the actions that led to his divorce from Elin Nordegren?

Tiger Woods left the world shocked after details about his alleged controversies became public. Fans gave the golf star a really tough time while he was already on the verge of losing his family. And he didn’t only hurt Elin Nordegren, but also his mother.

Kultida Woods, the golfer’s mother, was soaked in disappointment after she got to know about her son’s actions. Despite Woods having a rough time himself, his mother chose to comfort her grandchildren and Nordegren first. She even visited Woods’ family in Florida to console Woods’ ex-wife.

And soon after her return, her friends opened up about how she felt regarding the whole scenario. “She is hurt, angry, and disappointed with Tiger”, a family friend of the golfer’s mother said. “She likes Elin and adores her grandchildren. She’s worried about them. She doesn’t want to see them hurt…She wants to know how he could do this to his family.”

Why was Kultida Woods so sympathetic towards Elin Nordegren?

It looked like Kultida Woods could feel what her daughter-in-law was going through. It might be the case as sources suggest that Tiger Woods’ father allegedly had a few affairs during his marriage with Kultida. And therefore, the 65-year-old could understand what Nordegren must have gone through.

It was already shocking to know what was going on in Woods’ life outside of his marriage. However, it was even more discomforting to know that the golfer knew about the fact that his father reportedly had extra-marital affairs of his own. According to Woods’ first girlfriend Dina Parr, the golf star used to ‘weep in anguish’ after he found out about his father’s affair.
