The last major of the year in men’s golf, the Open Championship, is underway at Hoylake. The first two rounds of the event have already concluded, with the top 70 golfers (including ties) set for the weekend action. There were some important names who failed to make the cut.

One such golfer who failed to miss the cut was none other than John Daly. Be that as it may, this does not stop him from spending his time as he pleases. On Saturday, the 57-year-old golfer was spotted returning to his bad-boy persona and having a great time at Hooters. Let’s find out more.

Daly was among the participants at the Royal Liverpool Golf Course event. Unfortunately, he couldn’t make the cut and missed out on the weekend action. But he is not bothered. Not at all! Hours after the mishap, the two-time Major winner was seen having a whale of a time at the Hooters in Liverpool.

Daly took to Instagram stories and posted a picture of himself with a Hooters girl (a waitress at the Hooters restaurant). He often visits the restaurant. Not only that, the 1991 PGA Championship winner also has some sponsorship deal in place with the Hooters chain. He wore the Hooters trousers in the second round of the ongoing championship. He was also spotted smoking on the course on the second day. There is enough evidence he doesn’t give two hoots about anything.

Despite being well-known for his drinking, gambling, and smoking habits, Daly maintains a sizable fan base. And they must be delighted to see him landing at the ideal location for a great time after his lackluster performance in the year’s last major. What is a bad performance after all?!!! Nothing.

John Daly’s performance at the Open, “Over” all the way

The Open Championship started on the 20th of July. Nothing went John Daly’s way right from the outset. As a result, the 1995 Open winner turned in a 6-over in the first round. The second round was no different as another 6-over followed.

At 12-over, the 1991 PGA Championship winner bowed out of the competition! It’s another thing that he doesn’t care about results much. He likes to live life “king size” and for him nothing gets in the way of that. Not even a bad performance. What do you think about his visit to the Hooters Restaurant?
