Apart from their brilliant golfing skills, another thing that has made Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka popular among fans is their sour rivalry. Things were ugly between the two-star golfers for a long time.
And it was only after years of fighting that DeChambeau and Koepka reportedly buried the hatchet at the Ryder Cup in 2021 and hugged it out. But with his latest move, Koepka may have dug out buried skeletons.

Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka will be teeing it off at the 2023 US Open in less than two days. And before it begins Koepka did something to infuriate his former foe and current competition DeChambeau. Back in 2021 when this rivalry was at its peak fans of Koepka found a great way to annoy his rival. At Memorial Tournament some fans were yelling at him ?Let?s go Brooksy? which apparently boiled the blood of DeChambeau. Apparently, he and his caddie arranged to have those fans removed from the stands. With this move, Bryson made it clear that neither did he like being referred to as Koepka and nor does he like the nickname ?Brooksy? that fans have for Koepka.
And now hours ahead of the highly anticipated US Open, Brooks Koepka enjoyed this old dig at his former foe. Alerting fans of a discount on his merchandise on his website Koepka promoted his brand’s t-shirts that say ?Let?s go Brooksky? loud and clear. Koepka wrote on Twitter ? “Brought back the “Team Brooks” merch for a limited time & 20% off to celebrate the 5th Get yours before it sells out, even added a never before seen tee”

This move is hailed as a subtle nod from Koepka?s end towards infuriating his old enemy and having some fun with it.

This intense rivalry started in a tournament in Dubai when Bryson criticized Koepka’s speed on the course. Soon matters got worse and the two started openly criticizing each other. From interviews to social media, the bad blood continued everywhere. Then both moved to LIV Tour. Although both went there for personal gains rather than friendships. The bitter spat only came to an end when the two were seen hugging at the Ryder Cup in 2021.
After that things seem to cool down. In fact, DeChambeau was the first LIV player to congratulate Koepka on the field after his win at the recent PGA Championship. He had said, ?This guy just won five majors, and I want to see that. It?s pretty special, and I want to give him the respect that he is due.? But only the two know what is the real situation between them.
