LIV Golf has been subjected to criticism and frowns since its inception. Even last year, LIV golfers were debarred from international events like the Ryder Cup and the Presidents Cup. But this year, after the signing of the merger, the situation changed a bit, and LIV defectors could participate in these tournaments only if they qualified.

Now, from the LIV troop, only Brooks Koepka bagged that golden ticket to Rome, while others didn’t. As a result, the LIV defectors had to say goodbye to their patriotic dream. Despite having done so, they still cheered for the 2023 Solheim Cup girls squad.

As we already know, the LIV Golf Chicago (at Rich Harvest Farms) and the Solheim Cup (at Finca Cortesin, Spain) are taking place in the same time frame from September 22 to September 24. Now the LIV defectors who have accepted their misfortune of being excluded from the Ryder Cup have shown their support for the Solheim Cup veterans.

The LIV team, called Majesticks GC, which consists of Ian Poulter, Lee Westwood, Henrik Stenson, and Sam Horsfield, has taken to Instagram to give a whoop to the ladies who are currently striving for their patriotic dream on the Spanish greens.
