Talor Gooch is having one of his best seasons ever this year! The golf pro has been adding win after win to his name, and his recent success at the Valderrama event says it all. The 31-year-old golfer has won three LIV events in 2023 so far, his first and second coming at back-to-back events in April.

With his wins, the former Oklahoma State player has already bagged $4,000,000 twice. Yet this win stands out for him as an extraordinary one. And the reason behind it being special is just plain adorable!

Talor Gooch reveals the reason behind his additional joy after his win

The three-time LIV individual event winner just hours ago defeated Bryson DeChambeau in Valderrama at the Andalucía event. With a stunning 15-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole, the golf pro took a one-stroke lead over DeChambeau, who had led the event the entire round, to finish at 4-under par and grab the win.

While winning wasn’t new to Gooch, one thing at the Spain event was. And that made this win much more special than his previous two! In the post-match press conference, he revealed the reason behind his immense happiness for this particular win, and it had everything to do with his family.

Soon after his win, Gooch was asked about his excitement for the win, especially since his daughter and wife were there to witness it. The golf pro’s face lit up as he answered and said, “Yeah, absolutely. With them not being at the other two, to have that opportunity to kiss them after the win and hug them, that’s what it’s all about.”

Gooch’s reply and his thrill for his family say everything fans need to know about him: that though he is a devoted golfer, he is a father and husband before that! And his loving wife, Ally Gooch, and daughter, Collins, would always be his first priorities!

In December 2019, Gooch tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Ally Gooch. Ally is a famous YouTube content creator and often flaunts her talents as a chef there. Moreover, she also heads the Talor Gooch Foundation, which works to uplift underprivileged children. She is also one of Gooch’s biggest supporters and can sometimes even be found cheering him on at the course with their daughter!

The couple’s daughter, Collins, was born on July 7, 2021. The adorable soon-to-be two-year-old is often shown off on her father’s Instagram feed through heartwarming photos and videos!
