The 82-time PGA Tour winner had been dating Erica Herman for six years. Sadly, they broke up in 2022, following which the famed restaurant manager claimed that she had an “oral tenancy agreement” with Tiger Woods that she could live in his estate, where she had allegedly been living with him, for five years after their split in case that happened. She also stated that she had provided the World Golf Hall of Famer with “valuable services” in order to continue her free stay in the multi-million-dollar home.

Despite her allegations, Tiger Woods denied them all, referring to her as a “jilted ex-girlfriend,” as per TMZ. Regardless, Herman filed a lawsuit worth $30 million against Woods’ trust, which is listed as the property owner, claiming that it was a “reasonable value” for the time she lost in the beautiful home after being locked out.

However, after months of back and forth with the 15-time major winner’s legal team, the ex-girlfriend had her claims dismissed in open court. The judge instead ordered the case to be presided over by an arbitrator. Following this, Herman has now finally decided to drop the case, as reported by TMZ and shared by NUCLRGolf on Twitter.

Amid the massive woes of the LIV-PGA Tour merger, this is certainly a big win for the 47-year-old. Now no longer on edge to lose $30 million in a public feud, the golf pro can certainly enjoy his victory and breathe a sigh of relief while he focuses on his recovery from his more recent ankle surgery.

Was the Woods vs. Herman legal feud a surprise to the public?

When filing the lawsuit against Tiger Woods’ trust, Herman alleged that the epic golfer spun a web of deceit to lock her out of the house. She claimed that she was asked to pack a bag for a vacation and escorted to the airport. There, she was promptly informed that she couldn’t return to the estate because she was now “locked out.” This news, of course, came as a huge shock to the golf world!

The reason being that Erica Herman had stood by Woods’ side through thick and thin. She was by his side while he dealt with his injuries after his unfortunate 2021 accident and even showed her inundated support for him on the greens when he eventually took to them. Even the pro golfer referred to her as his support system.

Moreover, the former partner had been an integral part of Woods’ children’s lives too, and she was often seen with them on the course rooting for the golf legend. It was certainly shocking for the golf community to learn about their public tiff after their years of support for one another.
