Overwhelmed with pride as he witnessed his talented teenage son excel and challenge him at Close House, the emotions ran deep for the 47-year-old golfer.
In the aftermath of the event, Poulter took to Instagram to share his immense joy and reflect on the special moments he has experienced with his son throughout his golfing journey. He fondly recalled how, as an infant, his son accompanied him to the momentous Ryder Cup in 2004. Now, after 19 years, it was truly remarkable to see his son competing alongside him on the golf greens, creating an unforgettable family legacy.
With a picture of him with his son, Poulter wrote, “Well that went quick @lukepoults24 From travelling on the @RyderCupEurope team plane in 2004, to playing in your first ever event with your old man and finishing T22.
