LIV Golf and PGA Tour have contrasting schedules, one has only 14 events while the other boasts 33. So, when Jo Rahm moved, the fewer events of LIV Golf were under fire by many. He was not expected to play many events, though he will be proving all the critics wrong. Yes, LIV Golf has only 14 events per season, but even then Rahm is going to have a hectic schedule.

With only a month remaining before the 2024 season of LIV Golf begins, Rahm is preparing to make his presence count in various countries and cities around the world and the United States, including potentially, fulfilling his Olympic dreams for his country.

After he defected to LIV Golf, people might have expected Rahm to be only present at the 12 LIV events throughout the season. But that’s not the case for the 4x major champion. The Spaniard has won two majors and ranks third on the OWGR, courtesy of which will allow him to play all four majors in 2024.

Moreover, the 29-year-old will be living his dream of playing at the Olympics after the disappointing 2021 event. In 2021, Rahm tested positive for COVID-19 which hindered his participation as the world number one and he had to withdraw even before reaching Tokyo. But not this time around.

As the tweet by Tracking Jon Rahm suggested as per the projected OWGR list of July 2024, Jon Rahm would be qualified for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France, and will be representing his country for the first time. This will be right after The Open Championship in Royal Troon.

The golf event will start on 1st August and end on 4th. Xander Schauffele won the gold medal while Rory Sabbatini clinched the silver and Chinese golfer C.T. Pan won the bronze. If Rahm does qualify, he may play as he could not at the last Olympics. Although the reigning Masters champion has not confirmed the news yet. After making his LIV Golf departure, Rahm will make his official debut in February, here is a rundown of Eahm’s 2024 schedule.

On the other hand, the DP World Tour has not suspended the 10x DPWT winner as the PGA Tour has done. Rahm had stated his wish to play in both leagues as per his schedule of LIV Golf. So, there is a possibility of seeing Rahm on the European Tour as well. Right now, the Spaniard is vacationing in Maui, Hawaii as he could not defend his Sentry title.
