LIV golfers are now headed to Australia after a busy week at the Masters. The fourth event in the Saudi-backed league‘s schedule will kick off on April 21 at Grange Golf Club, Adelaide.

Brooks Koepka, who had a sensational outing at the Masters this year, has already touched down in Australia for the LIV event. The golfer’s wife and long-time partner, Jena Sims, will join him at the event. Sims took to Instagram to share a wholesome exchange with her husband, revealing what she is most looking forward to.

Adelaide is all set to host LIV Golf’s first-ever event in Australia. Brooks Koepka, who finished on T2 at Augusta this year, will be competing alongside heavyweights like Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, and Cameron Smith.

Koepka had a fantastic run at the 2023 Masters following his dismal outing in last year’s edition. Owing to his second-position finish, the 32-year-old walked away with $1,584,000 in earnings. The four-time Major winner’s wife, Jena Sims, will cheer him on at the Grange Golf Club in Adelaide.

Before joining Koepka, Sims shared adorable text exchanges with her husband before she headed off. The golfer, who has touched down in Australia, shared a snap from the airport with his lovely wife. The picture features a Krispy Kreme outlet, which greatly impressed the 34-year-old beauty. Sims is a self-proclaimed Krispy Kreme connoisseur, as seen in her Instagram bio. Sharing her husband’s text on her story, the beauty wrote that she is “looking forward to a 26-hour travel day.

LIV Golf Adelaide will also be a 54-hole event without any cuts like previous tournaments. It is set to take place at the Grange Golf Club from 21st to 23rd April.

The LIV Golf event in Adelaide is the fourth of the 14 LIV tournaments this year. As seen in LIV, it will be a 48-players individual competition. The golfers will also compete separately in established teams of four. Ahead of the event, LIV CEO Greg Norman also took a jibe against the rival PGA Tour.

The total prize purse of the event is a whopping $25m, and the winner will walk away with $4m in earnings. Meanwhile, the winning team will be splitting $3m. LIV golfer Charles Howell III is leading the individual standings with 56 points. Brooks Koepka has made a place in the top 5 with his win in Orlando prior to the Masters. Dustin Johnson, two-time major winner and the champion of LIV’s inaugural event, has fallen to 13th place on the leaderboard.
