However, to cool things up a bit, sports business reporter, Darren Rovell, has a thrilling update. Re-sharing a post from Caddie Network on Twitter, Rovell wrote, “BREAKING: After a mysterious absence last year…looks like the Georgia Peach Ice Cream Sandwich will be back for The Masters.“
For those who don’t know, the iconic Georgia Peach Ice Cream Sandwich has been a fan favorite at Augusta National for quite some time. Unfortunately, it vanished from the menu of the Masters tournament last year. However, a picture from the ANGC Women’s Amateur tournament proved to be a relief for tons of fans. Earlier, it was reported that the fan-favorite snack was discontinued due to “supply chain issues”. But thankfully, it was present at the women’s golf tournament, and is expected to be available for the fans at the upcoming Masters as well!
Fans react to the surprising snack update
Golf fans have been giving all kinds of reactions to the enthralling update. In fact, a lot of fans seemed to be more excited about tasting the much-awaited desert, than actually enjoying the tournament. The tweet also asked fans what they would buy from the menu if they had $10 to spend. While some were more interested in talking about the prices of each food item on the menu, here’s what they said:
First trip: Egg Salad, Bottled Water
Second trip: Club, Bottled Water
Balance: Tip

I heard they were doing a new surprise desert and doing away with the peach.. I wish they’d keep the peach and add something new, too 🤷🏻♂️ Not that I’ll be there this year, but just for the next time I’m lucky enough to go 🤞🏼

If this is from today, this is the Champions Retreat menu. Will still need to wait for the Augusta National.

Yea that’s probably it, I don’t think there’s been much of any inflation the past 2 years

I would be very surprised to see bottled drinks at The Masters.

Whats the reason prices are so low, is this a tradition thing?
— Mike C. (@Kobecallaci) March 29, 2023
25% increase in price. Sorta how everything else is up 25-50% in price since January 2021.
