Dustin Johnson is spreading his magic in Tulsa at the moment. In the coming week, he will be in New York at Oak Hills Country Club to recreate the same magic there. The golfer is showcasing an amazing game at Cedar Ridge. He finished his game with a bogey on Saturday and got into the final round with a lead.

Answering about his recent form on the course, the golfer had just recently downsized his worry for the upcoming major event and shared what is more important at the moment.

The former No. 1 was awarded the points title in LIV Golf’s last season. Although mentioning the second season of the league, the golfer is yet to finish within five shots of the winner. This weekend at Tulsa seems to be changing it.

Dustin Johnson flies to New York in the coming days to play in the second major tournament of the season. His performance seems to be improving and he is putting on a fantastic show on the greens in Tulsa.

After day 2 ended, during the press conference, Johnson was questioned whether he is performing well because of the majors that are coming up. The golfer agreed that his game is in good form right now. He also said that he thinks he is doing everything correctly right now to be in stunning form.

Johnson also added, I’ve still got tomorrow first, and then I’ll worry about next week,” regarding his performance at the PGA Championship next week. He said that his first priority is currently the event he is playing, and winning there. 

No doubt that DJ wants to win the $4 million first and then set his eyes on the PGA Championship trophy.

DJ’s stellar performance in Tulsa 

The two-time major winner is back to playing his best game. He is back in amazing form just days before the second major of the season. On the first day of the event, the golfer finished in tied for 2nd position alongside Brendan Steele. The golfer had made 9 nine birdies and two bogeys to his name on Day 1 at Oklahoma. 

He posted a seven-under-63 to take a two-shot lead into the final round of LIV Golf Tulsa. The golfer ended his game on Saturday with a bogey on the final hole.
