Just hours before LIV Centurion commences, an announcement from the breakaway league caught fans by surprise. Anointed by the name ‘Potential, Unleashed’, it’s a series of sustainable strategies serving a dedicated purpose taken by the LIV Golf Series.
In simple terms, the program focuses on improving the lives of less-privileged children all over the planet. According to one of its estimates, almost 400 million youngsters are devoid of education or employment, with two out of every three being women.
Furthermore, the estimates have also pointed out how golf remains monotonous in terms of diversification. Within the United States itself, 92% of people working in the golf industry are men, with 67% of them being white.
These are some of the crucial challenges listed by the LIV Golf Series, with the aim of bringing down the numbers considerably. Many of these programs have already set a deadline for 2030, by which their objectives should disrupt the existing system.
Yet, more recently, the LIV Golf Series made a huge disruption while sticking to golf itself.
