The former world no. 1 amateur golfer has been a consistent force this season. While he has yet to win a title, Fowler has kept his checkbook ticking with a string of good results, having only missed the cut once in 2023.

The 34-year-old made his first appearance at the US Open back in 2008, where a then-teenage Fowler managed to make the cut. His first full season in the majors came three years later, at a time when he was considered one of the hottest prospects on the circuit.
However, more than a decade later, Fowler has failed to clinch a major championship. He has come agonizingly close at several attempts; the 2014 major championships serve as one of the best examples.
