The men and women athletes of the golf world might belong to different leagues, but they have often represented harmony and praised the other team whenever they did something phenomenal and worth appreciating.
And continuing with this solidarity, ace golfer Jessica Korda is celebrating the latest major win of Rickie Fowler despite herself facing disappointment with the US Women’s Open.

Jessica Korda’s ecstatic message for Rickie Fowler after his big win
Although the current no. 16 Korda herself is facing disappointment because of her absence from one of LPGA’s major tournaments, the US Women’s Open this week, she exhibited great sportsmanship by celebrating the win of her good friend Rickie Fowler at the Rocket Mortgage Championship yesterday. Taking to Instagram, Korda posted the PGA Tour’s picture that declares Fowler as the Champion of the Rocket Mortgage in her stories. On the side, she wrote – ‘YAHOOOO SO HAPPS’ and tagged Rickie in it.
Rickie, on the other hand, is having the season of his life. In the last few months, he has shown some extraordinary performance. And yesterday he finally gave the fans what they have been asking for. By winning Rocket Mortgage Championship on Sunday, he cemented his comeback after struggling for the last few years on the course. And Jessica is full of happiness for Fowler on this magnificent win.

Why is Jessica Korda not playing at the US Women’s Open?
Korda, who was eligible for this year’s Women’s Open under the exemption criteria, withdrew from the event due to health issues. Her lingering back injury has cost her many tournaments this season. The last event she appeared in was the Cognizant Founders Cup. Like Jessica, her younger sister Nelly Korda is also not participating in the event as she herself has not fully recovered from her wrist surgery.

Both sisters are suffering from health issues that are holding them back from the LPGA Tournaments. However, amidst the gloom, Jessica was ecstatic about Fowler’s big win, which only shows her great personality beyond the game.
