This LIV Golf 2023 season ended with a bang last week in Miami. The Team Championship saw all the 12 teams fighting tooth and nail for the mind-blowing $50 million prize purse. But in the end, the first prize was taken home by Bryson DeChambeau’s team Crushers GC.

Now that the season has ended, the golfers who have played hard throughout the year have time to relax and practice for next year. However, one golfer is using this time to treat himself to some luxury.

Kiwi golfer Danny Lee was among those players who left behind the PGA Tour and moved ahead with LIV Golf, which profited him greatly. Though he has only won one individual round as of yet, he has made great earnings from the Saudi-backed Tour. With these, he has treated himself to an early Christmas treat.

Two months before the anticipated holiday season, the 2008 U.S. Amateur champ has bought himself a Porsche. Sharing the photos of his new white first-class ride on Instagram, he wrote – Early Christmas present waited so long for this 🥳”

Not surprisingly, Lee harbors a love for the luxurious brand and this is not his first vehicle from the expensive brand. Responding to his post, his fellow LIV Golf player Pat Perez asked You had one. It was lime green?” and Lee replied, “You didn’t like that color so I switched to a new one.”

Lee joined LIV Golf this year only and has had a good enough season for a debutant.

How much did Lee earn in 2023 from LIV Golf?

His biggest win came at the Tucson event where he made his debut in the league with a win. He won $4 million from the US$20 million purse, which is almost the same amount he made in the last four seasons on the PGA Tour put together. He made a total of $6 million in individual prize money this season and finished 29th on the LIV’s money list for this year.
