John Daly is highly known for his brutal honesty in the golf world. Maybe that is why the golfer does not have a lot of friends on the PGA Tour. He recently appeared at the Cologuard Classic, making it his first tournament for this year. But now, the golfer is ready to take a break from the game and have some fun! Although the player hardly ever gets excited by anything new happening around him, his recent Twitter post suggested otherwise. Daly recently shared his excitement about him meeting someone who is pretty famous in his own field of music.

Who is John Daly so excited to meet?

Daly, 56, has made tons of records in his career including claiming 2 major victories on the PGA Tour. More than his spectacular long shots on the field, many recognize the golfer for his non-country club looks and bright shiny pants. The golf star has millions of fans in the golf world and loves entertaining them through his social media channels. However, his recent tweet showed some honest excitement about his meeting with American singer, pianist, and songwriter Billy Joel.
