Golf, but louder! No one will fail to recognize the slogan that came about in 2022 with the LIV Golf League’s inaugural season. Rush to June 2024, and the events up until now have witnessed music being blasted on the course, even when the likes of pros such as Jon Rahm and Phil Mickelson play. However, it appears that the Saudi-backed league has decided to take it a step further with their latest ‘loud’ move, just days after the 54-year-old showcased his moves on the dance floor!

A lot of popular names held their concerts at the season’s event, including the likes of Macklemore, FISHER, and Dan + Shay, the last of whom headlined the Nashville event. Case in point: The Greg Norman-led circuit has now decided to curate music for its fans to reflect the culture of the place where the event was held. Enter the Spotify account that LIV Golf created!

The new move comes after the PIF-funded circuit partnered up with AEG Presents, in a bid to bring well-known names to their tournaments. When asked about the same, AJ Dolan, the Event Production Director at LIV, answered, “It’ll provide nostalgia and serve as another touchpoint for fans at home.”

The league, thus, released its first playlist from Nashville’s tournament, featuring two separate public playlists titled “PreGolf” and “In-Play.” The former runs for 2 hours and is used while players including Rahm and Mickelson practice their game on the range. The latter, meanwhile, will run for 5 hours and will be used during the main event, only to be launched later on Spotify once the tournament ends.

The playlist from Nashville included a diverse mix of country, folk, and EDM that was used throughout the week at the Grove. It included a lot of popular artists, including the likes of Zach Bryan, Taylor Swift, Zac Brown Band, and Morgan Wallen. LIV Golf has certainly added some rhythm to the game. And Phil Mickelson would definitely agree!

Age is but a number, and ‘Lefty’ proved the same with his cowboy boots on the dance floor. The skipper of HyFlyers GC stepped off the green along with his teammates, including Andy Ogletree and Cameron Tringale, to dance to what appears to be “The Fireman” by George Strait. They sure did “kick up dust in Nashville!”

“I’m kinda digging the Nashville vibe,” divulged Mickelson in his black cowboy hat and bandana. If so, he would definitely love the next event on the schedule, the LIV Golf Andalucia, where Spanish singer Abraham Mateo will hold a live concert after Saturday’s play. On July 13th, it will definitely be “Golf, but Louder” in Spain.
