A few days ago, Brian Harman, who had been leading Thursday’s game in the BMW Championship, made six successful birdies and had a total score of 65. After his exceptional first round, the Open Championship winner was called for a presser. This was where he defended the one-time major winner for being called “journeyman Lucas Glover” in an article. Harman said he found the label found ridiculous.

Harman even mentioned, “Lucas Glover is a world beater.”

The veteran also complemented Glover’s astounding form that led him to win the FedEx St. Jude Championship.

The 36-year-old golfer has now expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards Harman. Glover said, “Yeah, that meant a lot. I don’t know… what spurred it on or where it came from, but I texted (Brian Harman) right after and just said, Thank You. I appreciate that. Those were very kind words.”

“So, yeah, that was over-the-top cool of him. Any given week, everybody wants to beat everybody. So it’s nice when you finish, off the course to have some solid camaraderie and feeling a brotherhood with some of the players. It’s nice,” he added.
