What happened was this: the LPGA Tour enlisted the help of twelve celebrities and professional athletes to announce the players’ names in a video as part of a unique initiative. It was then that the American professional golfer got the surprise of her life as she watched Saban mention her name.

According to the LPGA official site, the Solheim Cup rookie stated, “I was sitting on the couch like waiting for my name and Nick Saban – I thought I was about to cry.”  She further revealed that she had met him previously while studying at Alabama University, where Saban is the head football coach.

“But just for him to like, pronounce my name correctly and know about the Solheim Cup was really cool, and it’s something I’ll keep forever because everyone knows Nick Saban. He’s the G.O.A.T.”
