Justin Thomas is quite a popular name in the game of golf. But this two-time major winner had an unsatisfactory year in 2023. And his gameplay was also deficient and substandard as compared to his other performances previously. He had a row of five events where he missed cuts from May to August this year- the Memorial Tournament, the US Open Championship, the RM Classic, the Open Championship, and the 3M Open.
But despite all the setbacks and backlash he faced for not being in his best form, the fifteen-time PGA Tour winner takes an optimistic approach to his upcoming golfing ventures.

Justin Thomas displays his positive mindset about making a comeback to the game. And he takes to the staple Instagram platform to make a sanguine post about his future plans for golf.
He posted a series of pictures collected from his golf nostalgia and wrote a soul-stirring excerpt along with them. Thomas wrote, “I’ve always been one to enjoy looking back at old pictures/videos… I’m very fortunate to have such a great team and support system… Because of them, I’m able to be optimistic about the future after a “not so great” season. So so so much good comes from learning experiences, and I had plenty of them this year… You’re never as far off in this game as you think, and I have known that to be the case for a while.”
The star golfer acknowledges the support and fondness he’s received from his well-wishers instead of having a tough year. He also mentions that he takes all the experiences to be insightful and educating, and he admits the fact that one can never stay away from golf for long.

The person who induced confidence in his mate, despite Thomas’ poor form, is none other than US Ryder Cup captain Zach Johnson. After the second round of the Open Championship, Johnson said in an interview, “As a friend and roommate, I’m concerned just because he’s my buddy and I know what he’s capable of and that sort of thing,” thus boosting confidence through his words.
The 47-year-old added, “I might be slightly concerned, like I said, as a friend, but I’m not worried about him because I know what he does and I know what he’s capable of,” reflecting on Thomas’ diligence and potential.
