LIV defector Bryson DeChambeau, had a ground-breaking $4 million win at the LIV Golf Greenbrier this year, where he carded a record round of 12-under 58 to win the LIV trophy. Alongside this, he has also been striving to be a part of the Ryder Cup US team and woo Captain Zach Johnson with his performance.

Now, this one-time major winner, who is having his gala time in the LIV family, makes an unfeigned confession about LIV Golf, declaring his profound loyalty to the league.   

Bryson DeChambeau asserts his fidelity to the Saudi-backed League

LIV Golf has previously brought quite a change to the golf world with its immature set-foot last year. While the league is still in its initial stages, it has already challenged the regal golf association, the PGA Tour. Recently Bryson DeChambeau, has made an honest admission relating to the future of sports and how this Saudi-backed league can impact society as a whole.

Thus, at the Trump National Golf Club Fireballs GC Press Conference, he said, “The impact that we have that people are starting to see from Adelaide. $100 million in economic impact is gigantic, and this is only the beginning… People don’t talk enough about the positive impact we’re making, not only in each other’s lives but in the communities’ lives and what we did today with Hope Through Education, it’s just another telltale sign.”

Here, DeChambeau sheds light on the fact that LIV Golf Adelaide was a huge success, and recently, LIV Golf has also taken the initiative to educate the lower rungs of society and they’ve named this program ‘Potential, Unleased’.

In addition to this, he also said, “This is only the tip of the iceberg from a franchise perspective. I’m talking about building academies. We’re talking about academies, even golf courses, community impacts in certain areas depending on where our home base is, our home regions are India, that’s a huge untapped market that I think could economically, socially impact massively from the game of golf.”

He also mentions that LIV Golf is taking steps to give out golf courses to beginners, and India, as a country, has huge potential that could socially and economically help itself with the game of golf.

DeChambeau’s performance in the LIV Golf Greenbrier

Bryson DeChambeau had a masterclass win at the LIV Golf Greenbrier with a score of 23-under 187 at the end of three rounds. He started the first round of the event with one double bogey and one single bogey, securing a score of 68.

Then, moving forward to round two, he had a bogey-free round with nine successful birdies, bringing his score to 61. Then, the last round was a treat to watch, where he carded 13 birdies and thus secured his first win in the LIV Golf Series.
