Rose Zhang, a young golfer, has surprised the golfing world with her exceptional abilities and game. She has accomplished something that a young golfer may only hope for, thanks to her elegant drives.

In a short span of time, she made history by becoming the first golfer to win the NCAA women’s golf individual championship twice. With such extraordinary skills, she has added another feather to her cap.

Zhang makes a celebratory announcement on Instagram

20-year-old leading amateur is not an amateur anymore. Yes, the most accomplished amateur female golfer in history is now a professional. On her most recent Instagram post, she made this significant announcement. She posted a photo of herself online with other golfers with the caption:

“I am excited to announce that I am officially turning professional and will be making my debut at the @mizuholpga next week!” she wrote.“The endless love, support and inspiration from so many people brought me to this point of my golf career. From my teammates to my coaches and trainers, to my friends and my family–you have all been integral in my journey, shaping me as a person and player while making sacrifices for my success. You have made it possible for me to pursue my dreams.”

Zhang will make her debut at next week’s inaugural Mizuho Americas Open at Liberty National Golf Club in New Jersey. Additionally, the USGA granted her a special exemption for the AIG Women’s Open at Walton Heath and the U.S. Women’s Open.

“Stanford is truly a special place with special people,” Zhang wrote in her post. “I would never take these incredible memories and experiences for granted. With that in mind, while I am pursuing my professional career, I will continue to earn my degree in the years to come. Stanford fam forever.”

Zhang, a Stanford student, has accomplished something extraordinary that is unimaginable to beginners. She has received the McCormack Medal three times, and she has also received the

ANNIKA Award twice. With so many laurels to her name, her news undoubtedly generated excitement among fans.
