The young prodigy making waves currently is William McGee, the son of LPGA legend Annika Sorenstam. His commitment to the game is evident, so much so that he sometimes even advises his champion mother.

In a recent social media post by Will’s father, he mentioned, I enjoyed caddying for Will in the US Kids Golf yesterday. He shot 75 w/ 2 as he said,” stupid doubles.”Finished 5th.” He further added, “These kids are getting better & better at younger ages. Fun to see! Off to NYC to meet Annika who is in route from Korea for a meeting this afternoon.”

The golf community took notice when last December, William showcased his talent with impeccable left-handed strokes, impressing many pro golfers. As he participates in different golf events, and as yesterday his father caddied him for the USKids Golf Orlando, it’s evident that he’s refined his skills even more, setting the stage for potential future matchups with Charlie Woods.

William’s recent game at the Lake Highland School golf competition may not have seen him dominating, but his spirit and skills were evident. He overcame a tough challenge on the course and his father’s tweet praised William’s game which received a lot of fan reaction.
