LIV Golf is on the road to becoming a huge success. With its recent feathers in the hat, such as massive success at the Adelaide event, cracking a 6-year deal with Sentosa Golf Club, Singapore, and maintaining fruitful relations with POTUS Donald Trump. Yet it still has some major milestones to achieve in the world of golf, like winning over the appreciation of a former PGA Tour pro. He is clearly not a fan of the rebel league and he has made his stance pretty evident by engaging in a few Twitter feuds, including one with Phil Mickelson.

The former PGA pro is now back on Twitter to clap back at an imposter LIV Golf account that has bothered him for too long now. It’s finally time for him to speak his mind.

The players for this year’s The Match were announced just a couple of days ago. Fans did not approve of the player selection for this year’s exhibition match. And neither did many others in the golf world, such as Carley Reid.

Reid, who is a part-time caddie, shared her opinion under Golf Digest’s post and wrote,If they really wanted to move the needle and #growthegame with these matches they’d actually invite women to participate.” Her comment, of course, stirred up many feelings in the golf world.

LIV Golf Insider, an account dedicated to everything related to the league, took a dig at the caddie’s comment and posted, “Yikes. Definitely not.” To which another rip-off LIV Golf fan account, Pro Golf Critic, replied that the LIV Golf Insider account is a se**st account. In the reply, they tagged Colt Knost, a former PGA Tour player.

Knost, frustrated, questioned the account in the comments, asking why he was tagged in all of the comments or posts by this fraudulent account. The original account of Pro Golf Critic then clarified that “that’s an imposter account, Colt. Ignore/block him. Please.” Knost commented, “Ok I’ll agree.”

This is not the first time that Knost has engaged in beef with anyone supporting LIV Golf. He has also engaged with Phil Mickelson in a Twitter war related to OWGR.

Colt Knost faces off against Phil Mickelson on Twitter

Knost believes that the professional golfers who left the PGA Tour for the breakaway league are not entitled to receive ranking points. But many don’t share this opinion of his, especially Mickelson, who wrecked havoc with the ex-pro all over Twitter just days ago.

It all began when a former PGA Tour pro responded to a tweet about LIV golfers getting points, and he wrote,Serious question. Y’all are so upset about the OWGR, if you knew the criteria when you’re starting a tour why wouldn’t you just meet it?”

Mickelson jumped right in and replied,Colt. It is not our job. It is the owgr’s job to rank ALL the players in the world. Maybe they can do THEIR job and figure it out like they do for multiple tours with hundreds of players not even close to as good. But that would hurt the PGA’s revenue from CBS so the leaders won’t.”

According to Golf Digest, the feud between the two just continued and ended with Knost inviting Mickelson to his show to discuss this more in detail and in person. The 52-year-old has declined the offer twice. The former pro’s third invitation is still awaiting a reply from Lefty.
