Davis Riley has been turning heads with his performance since the early days of his career. The Mississippi-based golfer has etched his name in the history books matching Tiger Woods and Jordan Spieth‘s feats for the same. — making it to the US Junior Amateur finals twice consecutively. However, fast forward to 2025, he hasn’t had the ideal start to the year. After making the cut, Riley withdrew in the final round of the Sentry, citing injury. After this, his performance took a toll as he missed the cuts in the next four events.
Despite the shortcomings, the golfer soon found his path to redemption. He was placed T6 in the Puerto Rico Open and, notably, is currently leading the Valspar Championship with the ongoing third round.
The golfer earned his PGA Tour card back in 2019, and over the years the golfer has been able to rack up his earnings both from on-course achievements as well as off-course endorsements. The 28-year-old struggled to cross the million mark from 2018 to 2021 due to his participation mainly in the Korn Ferry Tour and limited appearance at the PGA Tour. But with his breakthrough year, he made the cut in 19 events in 2021-22, which helped him with a whopping earning of $2,954,369. Even though his best finish was runner-up, the earnings kept rising.
