Team USA bagged its 10th consecutive win on Sunday! At the Royal Montreal, Xander Schauffele carded four straight birdies taking the lead for the American team on Sunday, while Sam Burns ended up finishing an invincible week.
Russell Henley, on the other hand, bagged a successful debut with a win, and the 2025 Ryder Cup US Captain Keegan Bradley took a crucial point right when Si Woo Kim missed a 10-foot putt on the last hole. “The last time I played, I was the point to lose the Ryder Cup. If this is my last round as a player — maybe it is — I’m happy with that,” said Bradley, being part of the Presidents Cup US team after five years.
The American Skipper Jim Furyk was left rather impressed with all the twelve players of his team. “It was a really good group of 12, an easy bunch. I had great leadership at the top. They made the captain’s job easy, and these guys played their hearts out this week. They played well on the back nine,” he said. Just like every other year, this year too, the prize-giving ceremony at the team event was made memorable with a special guest.

However, looks like the golf community is not a big fan of Trudeau. They were seen unimpressed with the latest guest and the post of NUCLR Golf.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had more than his required share of controversy and it looks like the Canadians are not yet over all of it. Even though he made a public apology for the mistakes, it seems as if that didn’t make any difference. Taking to this, people referred to Jim Furyk and asked him to sanitize the trophy to wash off all the germs. The reason is the fact that it was held by Trudeau. They left comments like, “I hope he sprays it with Lysol” and “Jim gonna need some hand sanitizer after that meeting”.
Since the Presidents Cup was held in Quebec this year, and there were a lot of Canadians playing on the International team, a lot of the spectators at the Royal Montreal were Canadians. Wondering if when Trudeau appeared as a guest at the tournament, the netizens reacted just the way they should, one of them inquired, “Was he booed?”
The team led by Jim Furyk had to go through a lot of drama for the International team. From being publicly accused of not having good sportsmanship, to being given the trophy by someone they did not like. Taking to this, one of them wrote, “On behalf of all Canadians I apologize to Jim Furyk for that experience.”

While another, suggesting that the presence of the Prime Minister was enough to completely take away the essence of the entire show, simply commented, “Most lame closing ceremony I’ve ever seen”, while another wrote, “What a damn joke!”
