The thrilling final prelude to the Masters 2024 took place a few hours ago, and well, the energy truly was unparalleled. In the Par-3 contest at Augusta National’s nine-hole par-3 layout, the golfers came together for a few fun rounds of golf in groups of 3. They paired up with their family members, caddying for them, and some even took charge of the clubs to hit some shots. Ask Jordan Spieth’s son about it!
As the little ones took over the Augusta greens and the attention of the patrons as well! Brooks Koepka’s son Crew Koepka, also made the list of spotlight stealers along with Rickie Fowler’s daughter. However, it looks like the Par-3 contest became the best place for the Smash CG skipper to teach his 8-month-old son a rule or two about golf with his wife Jena Sims by his side as his looper for the day. Although they did not win, it is safe to say that the Koepka trio had the time of their lives on the greens!

Brooks Koepka recently took to his official X (formerly Twitter) account and shared snippets from the family-friendly contest. The first picture captured the LIV Golfer in golf action as Jr. Koepka sat by the greens, watching his father. It was followed by a group photo in which the Koepka-trio stood next to Max Homa, who was holding his son Cam Andrew, standing next to him was his wife Lacey Croom.
And then there was Wyndham Clark and his wife Julia Kemmling. The wives and kids of the golfers donned the traditional all-white overalls with green hats. In the third picture, he was seen carrying baby Koepka in his arms, playing with him. The final picture was the happiest of all, as the entire Koepka clan was clicked in a candid moment, and well, the happiness reflected on their faces.
Expressing his sheer joy to be able to share the greens with his family, Brooks Koepka wrote, “The Crew mastered our first Par 3. Today was one I won’t forget, thanks to @TheMasters for the experience #TheMasters.”

Well, looks like Little Crew did not just sit and watch his father play, but also gave him a lot of hands to help him finish at the 9th hole. Koepka held Crew up and placed the club between his hands, giving a little nudge to the ball that went straight into the hole. This time without any hindrance. A great debut for the infant indeed, and that too at the luscious greens of the Augusta National Golf Course.
The Koepka trio left the golf community with their fairway bond
The entire golf community swelled with joy as they witnessed the enchanting sight of the father-son duo weaving memories amidst the vast fairways that shall stay with them forever! One of the followers was left completely exhilarated by Crew’s first ever golf shot, and that being a score they wrote, “The smile on your face at the end of the 9 with the baby was a first for me watching you. Happy to see you happy and at peace with anything and everything. Great place to be!”

One fan could not help but mention that out of the three golfers, there were two PGA Tour pros standing next to Koepka a LIV golfer. They chose to highlight the sense of togetherness that the contest brought on the greens, which also ignited the hope of reunification of the sport in their heart as they commented “Sure does look like a great group of friends regardless of Tour. Seems it would be possible for everyone to co-exist.”
But well, looks like, apart from all the fun, the fans did not forget that D-day approaches in a few hours. They kept on rooting for Brooks Koepka, even in the post that was supposed to be a fun one. In an attempt to keep him motivated, they left comments like, “Let’s have a week Brooksy” and “Go get that jacket BK!”
