Turning professional in 2015, C.T. Pan secured his sole PGA Tour victory at the 2019 RBC Heritage. Since then, the Taiwanese golfer has been striving to expand his PGA Tour success. After a five-year gap, he now finds himself in a strong position to finally break his winless streak.

The one-time PGA Tour winner has been making headlines for leading the 2024 PGA Tour event, the John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run, Silvis, Illinois. Except for his T3 finish at the Mexico Open, his 2024 PGA Tour record hasn’t been good, with five missed cuts and one withdrawal, with the best finish being a T28 at the Cognizant Classic. Given his impressive performance at the John Deere Classic, it’s intriguing to explore his equipment arsenal in detail.

The 32-year-old golfer relies on Titleist equipment for his game. For powerful drives, he uses the Titleist TSR2 driver (9 degrees, B1 SureFit setting) with a Fujikura Ventus Red 6 X shaft. The Titleist TSR2 is a top choice among golfers, known for its popularity. Reviewing the Taiwanese golfer’s PGA Tour statistics, he boasts a driving accuracy of 62.18%.

Talking about his 3-wood selection, Pan opts for the Titleist TSR3 (B1 SureFit setting) with a Ventus Red 7 X shaft, lofted at 16.5 degrees. For his 5-wood, he prefers the Titleist TSR2 (21 degrees, C1 SureFit setting) paired with a Mitsubishi Tensei CK Pro Red 80 TX shaft.

Selecting the right irons can significantly impact your chances of winning or losing. That’s why Pan opts for a combination of three irons: the Nike Vapor Fly Pro (2), the Titleist T200 (4), and the Titleist 100 (5-9). His clubs are fitted with Project HZRDUS 6.5 (2) and True Temper AMT Tour White S300 shafts.

What wedges, putters, and golf balls does C.T. Pan use?

Like his irons, Pan relies on multiple wedges. He uses two Titleist Vokey Design SM9 wedges (46-10F, 52-08F, 64) and a Vokey WedgeWorks wedge (58-06K @59). His preference for wedge shafts is the True Temper Dynamic Gold Purple S400. For putting on the greens, the 32-year-old relies on the Scotty Cameron TG-6.5 putter. However, despite his efforts, he doesn’t excel in putting, ranking 113th on the PGA Tour. His putting average stands at 1.785, with an average of 29.28 putts per round.

C.T. Pan uses Golf Pride MCC grips on his golf clubs. His choice of the golf ball, like much of his equipment, is from Titleist. He uses the Pro V1x. Armed with these tools, Pan is showcasing his best at the 2024 John Deere Classic. The big question remains: Can he turn this into a win? Only time will reveal the answer.
