According to the official TGL website, the virtual course lineup for Matchday 4 of TGL is packed with Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy teeing off the Triples on Hole 1, “Flex” a 516-yard par 4 where strategy on the right will be key. Hole 2, “Bonnie Link” a 602-yard par 5 offers safer fairway options around a central mound, while Hole 3, “Oh Chute” a 205-yard par 3 has remained birdie-free this season. On Hole 4, “Sidewinder” a 571-yard par 5, Woods and McIlroy will swing history tackling its water-guarded green.
Kevin Kisner and Adam Scott will play on Hole 5, “Cliffhanger” a 184-yard par 3. Jupiter Links’ Tom Kim meets Boston’s Keegan Bradley at Hole 6, “Bluebonnet” a 312-yard par 4. The action boosts on Hole 7, “Craic On” a 172 yards par 3 active course that holds many putts of the season. Hole 8, “Hatchet” a 448 yards par 4 challenges players with its two-tiered fairway, and Hole 9, “Boomerang” a 582 yards par 5, narrow yet interesting finishes the round.

On to the Singles- it will start with Hole 10, “The Spear” a 586 yards par 5 decked for Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, where they will navigate a narrow fairway pinched by water. It’s probably the most visually creative one, and a favorite. Hole 11, “Loot On The Line” a 391 yards par 4 is a daring field asking for a 300-yard carry straight down the fairway. Ahead, Hole 12, “On The Rocks” a 135-yard par 3 keeps things tight with a narrow 41-yard landing zone.
On Hole 13, “Alpine” a 535-yard par 4 Woods and McIlroy are to face a gorge-lined fairway that’s harsh on missed shots. Hole 14, “Set In Stone” a 167-yard par 3 digs precision with its canyon and a green favoring left-to-right shots. The match will complete on Hole 15, “Pin Oak” a 579-yard par 5 materializing a peninsula green and bunker-filled landing zone, perfect for the bold ones going for it in two.
Woods and McIlroy fans should get ready for a fun evening. A highly opinionated matchday indeed.

Who has better winning chances?
Led by World No. 3 Rory McIlroy, Boston Common Golf enters as the likely winner. On the flip side, Jupiter Links has the motivation to power through the opening loss to LAGC. Performance is still questionable with Kevin Kisner going at 0-2 in Singles in his debut. But things have been better. Tiger Woods holds bragging rights over McIlroy from their only career singles matchup at the 2019 WGC-Match Play.
Hole 13th, Alpine will be the real deal. As reported on TGL’s official website, just 50% of players in the last three matches have conquered this one. Hideki Matsuyama from Jupiter Links and Max Homa from Boston Common Golf are benched for this one.
