‘Could Somebody Please Ask Me Out On A Date?’: Paige Spiranac Once Portrayed Her Eagerness to Go on a Date

Before becoming the confident social icon that we see now, Paige Spiranac was a professional golfer. With her alluring looks and interest in social media, she has created a huge fan following that goes back to the very beginning of her career. 

In fact, her popularity began to rise so much that people started to propose to her through online. Given that, one would think that she was getting many proposals in real life too. However, that wasn’t the case with Spiranac.

“It’s so funny,” Spiranac said in an interview with Emirates Woman a day before the 2015 Omega Dubai Ladies Masters. “I’ll get marriage proposals and I’ll get asked out through social media,” she further added.  “Then it comes to real life and it’s like zero.”

“I’m just like: ‘Could somebody please ask me out on a date?’” The golfer said that morosely.

She also explained in the interview that she wasn’t a popular kid during as she was home-schooled and was an introvert. She didn’t even have proper friends as a child and used to spend time alone playing sports or at the gym. 

It is unknown why Spiranac, a golfer with incredible talent and beauty, had trouble getting dates in real life. However, with Maxim naming her the Sexiest Woman Alive in 2022, many would have regretted not asking her out when they had the chance! 

Who is Paige Spiranac dating now? 

Earlier this year, Spiranac revealed that she got divorced from Steven Tinoco, whom she married in 2018. Although she didn’t reveal the main reason for their divorce, she explained that he was supportive of her career choice and social media posts. 

According to Spiranac, she had a hard time dealing with the divorce. However, she doesn’t hate marriage and wants to remarry. The golfer revealed her decision through one of the episodes of her podcast, ‘Playing a Round with Paige Renee.’ Notably, the 29-year-old hasn’t disclosed her relationship status since her divorce. 

Spiranac is a confident young woman now. However, she had a troubled childhood. Although she is the dream woman of every man now, there was a time in her life when she felt alone and empty.
