When numerous PGA Tour players shifted to the new Saudi golf league, one of the most common reasons they had was their wish to spend more time with their families. Given that LIV Golf had shorter schedules, it seemed like a pretty valid point. However, Rickie Fowler, who stayed back on the PGA Tour, has a unique plan to keep his family close on the field!
Rickie Fowler has the perfect plans for his daughter’s future
Despite the huge transition of players to the LIV Golf league, Fowler chose to stick to the former tour along with Tiger Woods, Justin Thomas, and a few others. His love for golf is pure to an extent that he wants the sport to run in his family, even in the next generation. And hence, the golf star once did something that turned lots of heads and cameras toward him on the field.

Fowler posted a picture of her newborn baby girl in November 2021. The PGA Tour and many others shared the photo of the golfer with his wife Allison, holding their beloved child. The two named her Maya Fowler, Who has already hit the headlines a few times, thanks to her dad.

However, three months after her birth, The PGA Tour posted a video from the Honda Classic. And it was a close-up of Rickie Fowler’s golf bag. The surprising part? It had a bag tag named Maya Fowler – 2040 along with the AJGA logo. For those who find it confusing, all American Junior Golf Association players use a bag tag so their coaches are aware of their grad years.

It seems like Rickie Fowler has already decided on his daughter’s future in golf. We already have golfers who have been training their kids since their early childhood to become professional players. And looking at Tiger Woods helping Charlie Woods with his game, anyone could be inspired. However, there is a great possibility that Maya might have different plans in the future, of course, after she grows up. But as far as Fowler is concerned, he has it all figured out.
