Collin Morikawa has already established himself as one of the greatest golfers. While it has been his exceptional hard work that has paid off, he has also had unwavering support from his family. Take his wife, Katherine Morikawa, for instance. Despite her busy schedule as an athlete herself, she is often seen accompanying her husband to events, be it in the US or overseas.
For Katherine Morikawa too, her husband has been the strongest bane of support. She recently completed her first marathon for St. Jude, which was 26.2 miles long. “Running the @nycmarathon was for more than myself. This was for the kids who hope for the opportunity to go out and follow their dreams,” she wrote after completing the run. Her post was welcomed with comments like “Amazing!!!’ and “Congrats!!! Amazing!!” by Max Homa and Morgan Pressel respectively.
It was all for a charity that helps children who are in need. Well, she has been training for this for a long time. Running through days and nights, across the bridge. And in all of the practice sessions, and her final marathon stint, it was Collin Morikawa who kept her going. A few hours ago, she took to her official Instagram account and shared an emotional message thanking him for always being the most supportive husband.

The Morikawas are indeed a fun couple to be around. While this time it was a post of appreciation, sometimes they also have fun banter on the internet, which makes the fans laugh crazily. For example, when Collin Morikawa was to play at the Presidents Cup against the International Team, which had mostly Canadian players. His wife shared a post putting up a Canadian flag and showing support for the team.
She was born in Vancouver, Canada, and she wanted to tease her husband and let him know that even if he loses, it will be a victory for her. While this left Collin Morikawa confused, he knew she would be sad if they lost.
The emotional message left the entire golf community in tears. Many PGA and LPGA Tour Pros liked the post and showered it with comments of admiration.
